Kids story telling/bed time story - Indy the Iguana

Once upon a time inside a pine forest there lived an iguana. His name was Indy. He had very hard spines on his back. He did not have any friend. All other animals in the forest made fun of him. They said they are very beautiful and have very soft skin. They were never friends with Indy. This made him really very sad. He was lonely.

On a cloudy day, suddenly many big and small insects came into the forest. All the animals got scared. They ran away and hid inside their houses. One of the insect sat on Indy's back and tried to bite him. ‘Ouch' cried the insect. It got pricked by the spine on Indy’s back. The insect got scared and told his friends, “Stop my dear friends. Let us leave this place. We will get hurt.” All the insects left immediately. The animals thanked Indy for saving them. They became his friends and Indy was very happy.
