Tips for a Productive day

With lot of distractions around, it is difficult for most of us to enjoy our time peacefully. A productive day helps us to stay stress free and also to get the best out of us. Below are some tips to help you manage your day:

  • Get enough sleep -Your body needs sleep, if you don’t get adequate sleep it affects your physical and mental health
  • Start your day with gratitude -On bed be grateful for all the things you are enjoying. You can even write it down in a book, this is called gratitude journaling.
  • Exercise – it helps to stay healthy as well as to boost your energy levels.
  • Do Meditation – it helps in cleansing, both mentally and physically.
  • Don’t skip your breakfast
  • Prioritise your works
  • Do the toughest job first
  • Manage distractions especially social media.
  • Too much multi tasking is bad, stop multi tasking.
  • Reserve at least 30 minutes for a no-gadget time.
  • Practice mindfulness – be in the present moment. You will get the work done quickly and efficiently.
  • Avoid negativity – be it negative people around you or negative websites or negative thoughts or mobile applications that consume your time and energy, avoid them and use the time wisely.
  • Find time to follow your passion. If you have no passion, you can listen to music, go for a walk, cook food.
